Off the Las Vegas Stip: Did you ever wonder what there is to do if you wandered Off the Las Vegas strip? Well Lake Las Vegas is a 320 acre lake that is situated approximately 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip! The community surrounding the lake is considered a resort community and is very active. Although, most of the lake is surrounded by residential neighborhoods, you will also find resort style hotels and condominiums that are available for those who need accommodations on a short term basis.

Or… bring your own paddle board or kayak! Regardless, here's what your adventure on the lake may include! Arrive at the village! Stop by Lake Las Vegas Water Sports and grab your wrist band or rent a paddle board, if you didn't bring your own. Stop in at the village grocery store, Season's, to grab water or a sports drink for your water bottle or hydration pack. Drop your board in the water at the Lake Las Vegas Water Sports dock. Head out onto the lake. Once you've paddled along the shore and viewed all the beautiful homes, head over to the Westin Hotel Resort and Spa to cool off in one of their two resort style pools. Feel free to grab some food and drinks. If you happen to be carrying cargo on your board, your children, relax in the pool while they have a blast on the water park style water slide.
